Market Day

Market Day Program GraphicMarket Day is our primary fund-raiser for the school.  It is a food service company that provides restaurant quality foods from companies such as Tyson's, Kraft and Campbell's.  Families will have an opportunity to order food items each month beginning in September.  Our school earns a minimum of 10% of your Market Day Purchase.  This is an easy way for parents to support our school and purchase quality food for their family!

Your family will receive a Market Day flyer each month.  The due date for orders, and the date for pick-up, appear on the back of the flyer.  You may also order on-line at www.marketday.com

Soup Labels and Box Tops

All year long, we collect Campbell Labels and General Mills Box Tops.  The program is a great way to earn FREE educational equipment for our school.  Box Tops are found on hundreds of General Mills products throughout the grocery store. You just clip them and turn them in at school. General Mills will send our school a check worth 10 cents for each Box Tops coupon redeemed!

Campbell’s has made it easier for our schools to reach our collection goals with over 150 products now worth 5 points! Also, the new collection process makes it even easier to redeem merchandise. Visit labelsforeducation.com for complete list of products and point values.  Participating in the program is easy — simply save proofs of purchase from participating Campbell products and send them to our school. As of June 2, 2006, Campbell’s is no longer accepting front panels of the labels. Instead, they are asking for the UPC codes on back of the labels.  If you have any questions or if you would like to help please contact Kelly Magee, (410) 549-7514.

Please submit only the coupon itself, and try to cut as close to the dotted line as possible. By doing this it will make our jobs a lot easier!

Please start sending the Box Tops and Soup Labels as soon as school starts. You can send them with your child on any day during the week or month. The Labels and Box Tops will be stored in a special box in your child’s classroom. We will collect them once a month, count them and reward the class with the highest number.

Dinner Auction

The Dinner Auction is the PTA’s largest fundraiser of the year.  This year, the Dinner Auction will be held on Saturday, December 1st. The dinner auction committee orchestrates a delicious dinner, silent and live auction. The items up for donation are amazing! It is always an enjoyable evening for all who attend. This committee has many opportunities to help in various ways, with different levels of time commitment.  [More information on the Dinner Auction]

Sally Foster

Giant and Safeway

Earn money for our school while you shop!  Simply resister your Giant Bonus Card and your Safeway Club Card, then go shopping.  A percentage of your grocery bill will go directly to our school.

Enroll in Safeway eScrip, which runs from October to May.  You must register each year.  Safeway donates 3% of your purchases.  You can go on-line and register at http://www.escrip.com/.  Click the "sign up" tab, and use the search tool to find our school.

 For Giant, go to www.giantfood.com and register your card number under Mount Airy Elementary School.  Ask family and friends to register their cards as well!

Verizon

All Verizon long distance plans are eligible.  Call 1-877-X-Credit or 1-877-927-3348 or go on-line to http://www.verizon.com/extracredit/ and tell the Verizon representative that you are calling for the fund-raiser for Mt. Airy Elementary School.  5% of each long distance phone usage goes to the school, no fees.
